Understated and elegant, but also warm and traditional, here's how to achieve the Wabi-Sabi look for Christmas!
Wabi-Sabi style is all about texture and warmth, which plays well into our desire for all things cosy and welcoming in the festive period. Think natural textures, muted tones and mixtures of antique and found objects.

Bring lots of texture into the home in the form of natural items - pampas or dried grass filled baubles look amazing, as do branches with delicate decorations like these brass faces. Eucalyptus, firs and pine cones are classics but they look so perfect with this style.

When setting the table, add in lots of stoneware ceramics, rattan place mats, linen runners and greenery. We love these simple metal candelabras which are elegant but understated.

Make sure to use recyclable wrapping paper and finish with string or a fir-frond. If you'd like to make your own paper, see our tutorial here.
